I have learned that the over the counter (EXPENSIVE) flea and tick medicines I was using on my dog was causing serious harm.... mood swings, lethargy, vomiting... to name a few. I decided to figure out what could be done. I made the first mixture and gave it several 'make-overs' until I was satisfied that it would do the job and also work without harming my pets. I will never use that expensive chemical crap again....
This mixture works amazingly well and there are no side effects. As a precaution however I always suggest doing a spot test. Leave it for a few hours and see if your pet has any adverse reactions. If they do simply use soap and water to clean the spot and do not use the product again. If everything is fine then go ahead and use... Use once a week, or if you have a swimmer every other day. Repels mosquitos, ticks, biting flies, chiggers, mites, fleas and more.

Witch hazel, Distilled Water, Geranium EO, Patchouli EO, Lavender EO, Lemongrass EO, Citronella EO, Peppermint EO, Rosemary EO

Apply on their backs between the shoulder blades all the way down to the tail. For extra protection when we go out I put some on the legs and rub some on the inside of the ears and in the armpits.
