**Does it work?
Three days after i made this i was doing something dumb ( i knew it wasnt safe) and my knife cut into my ring finger to the bone. It bled immediately and i grabbed a paper towel; it bled through it quickly. I grabbed the fresly made styptic powder still in the mixing bowl and just took a pinch and placed it on the cut. It stopped bleeding immediately. A day later my husband took a chunk out of his calf and it stopped the bleeding as well, he is older and his blood is slower to clot, but it stopped it immediately.
